Read a book or get a mini TV. Spending that time (however intolerable) will keep her happy. Sacrifice is a small thing when it comes to your relationship.

Acting like you're watching that madness (it is a really stupid program) will go a long way.

I am a woman...obviously, but I will answer for you. I do the same to my husband with that show "Wife Swap" or other chick shows, but he goes to another room, to either watch TV or he gets on the computer. You guys should not feel guilty on going to another room, and the women should not gripe. Most women(including myself), leave the room when you guys watch football or cheesy action movies. Unless you two get on commonground on what to watch, I see nothing wrong with you leaving the room. :)

I think most men know that if they watch some crappy show they really don't like to watch they are improving the chances of "getting some". All they have to do is pretend to be interested in the show, make a comment every now and then, nodding of the head never hurts..........And all this on the gamble that they will later get "lucky!"

You men are so silly............The things you will do for some lovin'!

My husband is a total sports fan, but he loves Dancing with the Stars. We never miss it. He'll forego the football for it, not for me. We'll laugh and make comments on it and predictions.

He watches all his football on Fri-Mon, and then we switch. Neither of can wait until Ice Dancing!

My husband hates reality TV of any kinds. I stopped watching because he complained so loud every time I had anything on.
