It's like EVERY girl I know that gets a new love interest in her life or boyfriend and everything/everyone doesn't exist anymore of course until they stop "talking" or break up, then they come back like nothing happened. That is such BULL!!! Why do women do that? It's so sad!!!

P.S. To some RUDE PEOPLE:
1. I AM A GIRL ( TO: I HATE HIM)
Do you not see my name??? Last time I checked Roxanne is a GIRL'S NAME
2. I AM NOT SINGLE, AND I DO NOT ACT RETARDED LIKE SOME OF MY FRIENDS DO!!! I MAY BE A COLD HEARTED B..THOUGH, maybe that's why I don't understand the whole "losing yourself" concept when you get a new bf/gf

I am going through this right now with a best friend I had for over 15 years. I have been with her through about 5 boyfriends and 1 hubby and NOW she acting funny. I have basically dumped the friendship because I REFUSE to let a man OR woman think they can use me. Its her lost and she will be sorry because she will NEVER EVER IN LIFE have a down for life friend like me. IF you people only know the lengths and things I have done and will do for a TRUE friend. I can NEVER befriend her the way we WERE friends before.

Well lets see . This has been going on since the beginning of time . Or at lest the beginning of romance . Women fall in love and that is the only thing they see until it gets old or they break up . When your married for a long time you seek out your friends just to get away from your mate . It's the nature of the beast . We all have had a friend that did this to us . We feel bad yes . We think we don't count any more as a friend unless they are with out a boyfriend . It is normal and you can't do anything about it . It is how the world goes round . Your friend will come around even with a boyfriend . She just has to get the stars out of her eyes first . You don't realize your even doing this to someone . As you get older things like this are only a thing of the passed .

Most "women" do not behave that way. Teen-aged girls on the other hand do behave this way. It is simple, at that age, most young people are driven by their hormones.

Believe me, there are many teen-aged boys [and men] out there who have lost hockey and football playing buddies that have found new girlfriends.

When the "newness" wears off, your friends will come back around. Just be sure you understand what has happened....as you never know whey you too, will be bitten by the love bug!

The main thing is that your are happy for that time being, you think of nothing accept of the guy when you go sleep and when you wake up.... and then not your family nor your friends matters.?????????????? but just think of it this way if your friends and your parents dont want nothing to do with you??
I know love or in love is a strange thing, trust me i'm still waiting for that one special person to love....

I don't know either. It's probably just because it's in the beginning and everything is great in the beginning. It's perfect and you convince yourself he's the one and your in love and all that stuff. Then after awhile the fights start and then they realize reality and get out of the trance. Then they call and that's just how it is and how it's always been.

It's obvious that you're single. What you don't realize is that you probably do it too and just don't notice it. I used to talk the same **** when I was single and now my friends are talking **** on me. It is bull, but if you are true friends you'll be there when they come back. b/c they'll be there for you if it was you.

It is really sad...but i guess as soon as you meet someone for the first time you want to get to know them and the only way to do that is to spend time with them.... but i guess those girls don't know how to balance their time....also i suppose the guy is gonna want his guy-time and where are the girls when this is happening....i would just talk to your friends and tell them what is up!
