Had a pap test on the 26th of september; also was given a blood test to check for pregnancy before starting Birth control pills. Havent had sex since before pap test and blood test. Nurse said I might miss first period, which was due around the end of october. Has anyone heard of this??? Missing a period after a pap smear???

you wouldnt be missing it because of the pap you would miss it because of the hormones you are putting into your body from the birth control pills...sometimes it takes your body a month or two to normalize the hormones between what your body already produces and the extra estrogen you are now putting into it
