I'm 13, and I've been struggling with dark circles since I was 10. I've had dark circles since I was VERY young, about 4. It's only now I realised how much they ruin my appearence, and It's bringing down my self asteem. I truly think I'm a pretty girl, and I'm sure that's a good thing to think about yourself. But, I HATE looking in the mirror only to see these huge dark circles, which I would of thought you'd get only from lack of sleep. I get TONS of sleep at night, 10/11/12 hours. I've baught so many concealers, they work -- but only a little. But when I do use them, It seems so obvious I'm wearing some kind of concealer. I try covering THAT with foundation (I do breakout often, so I do feel I need the foundation, anyways.) Does sitting at the computer for a long while cause these? I don't drink barely any water a day? Help me out.

Just to give you an idea of how they look. It might be useful in some way.

I baught VITA-K a while back. I've been using it on and off, the first week nothing changed, so I stopped using it. Just got a little lazy.
I started using it again for a litle longer, still no results. And just this morning I'm going to attempt to try this again.

Does VITA-K work?

Those circles aren't that bad. I have them, too. I think it just heredity. A lot of eastern European people have them.

Best bet is to find the right type of make up for it. I honestly cant tell you what to try because everyone has a different skin tone and what not. But you should try going to your local mall, to either a cosmetic store or one in the department stores and asking one of the ladies *or guys* there. They might be able to let you know what a cheaper brand is that works just as well.

My next thing... drink water! Water is so important, pop is horrible for you. I love pop/ soda myself but have recently been trying to cut back and honestly it has made a huge difference in my skin, both in tone and texture. And honestly water is the best way to help loose weight and to just feel better.

Hope this helps :)
Best of luck.

I have the same problem, but they just won't go away. I'm 13 also, and no cover up has ever worked. What I'm trying to do is drink ALOT of water every day. Drink it every chance you get, instead of pop or kool-aid or stuff like that, drink water. I heard you get more energy from drinking water and you feel better and it can improve your health! Remember to keep your head high and continue with positive thoughts! Good luck!

Your circles don't seem too bad judging from he picture, so don't worry. But if you do want to minimize them try an eye cream of some sort. My friends and I had a sleepover and used it and in the morning we looked as though we had actually had a good night's sleep!
Good Luck!
P.S: Drink more, it can help...and make sure you get enough sleep.

believe it or not... i know this sounds gross, but i use a small dab of prep H under my eyes every morning...it tightens the skin literally...and then i use the product All About Eyes by Clinique...i just wash the prep H off after about half and hour and then apply the day cream...works for me

oh, you're picture wasn't bad at all...you have lovely eyes!

the picture doesn't look bad....but they sell special stuff for under eye-circles at places like walmart, target, Kmart. idk the price of the items though. probably in the $5 range or so. maybe your getting to much sleep....most people only need 8-9 hours...not 10-12. idk about the vitamin k thing....but try eating healthy, exercise, keep active...AND DRINK WATER!!....i know most people don't like to drink water but you could try adding some flavoring to it....

Soak a towel in milk. Put it over your eyes.
