These two guitarists have some differences. I will blend these differences in my head and come up with my recommendations. My choices, but not limited to: Jimmie Vaughan, Duke Robillard, Jimmy Thackery, Henry Garza Even Jimmie Vaughan has no pure evidence to the claiming statement from Hendrix. i could argue that he is the BEST GUITAR PLAYER of his generation.
give him some time - he might not be the best guitar player ever right now but he certainly could be someday.

he may be an okay musician, but he is NO WAY near being the best, sorry.
