Both the degrees are not respectful upto that moment until and unless u learn to respect and believe the fact that all the branches of medical science were created with one intention, i.e. for the welfare of the suffering mankind. Now each systems have their own limitations but that does not disgrace their effectivity. While homoeopathy is effective for some diseases Ayurvedic is effective for some other. Both the systems are dignified on their own aspects.
P.S. - somebody wrote here that both the systems practice allopathy - i strongly protest that, because i don't think what my ardent friend has written is true. there are many homoeopathic and ayurvedic physicians who practices in a very fair way by strictly following the principles of their own system as far as i am familiar with. and next my friend does not know what allopathy means, and we should not expect that also. allopathy is a colloqual term used by the layman which actually means an erroneous and faulty medical practices of 17th century. Medical science has advanced to a great extent and the modern medical science, has no relation with the old allopathic system. But nevertheless the homeopathic or ayurvedic physicians are respectful to the virtues and efficacies of modern medicine and vice versa, but that does not mean they just simply PRACTICE "allopathy".

You shoul think about yourself- what are you comfortable with. I feel the best way of treatment is homeopathy as it is totally dependent on your symptoms and this medicine theory reaches simply to the root cause of the disease. [AND THE BEST PART IS THAT YOUR PATIENTS ARE HAPPY BECAUSE THEY DONT GET TO EAT BITTER MEDICINES]
Then the main thing of your question is that which is more respectful then i can tell you that the day you start respecting yourself and your decisions then you need not care about it
By the way many people in my family and relatives know homeopathy
