how many of you live in a country that isnt your home country and why??

i just want to know some of the reasons why people my migrate - and where to.
i am from malawi and moved to england cause my mum works here.

I'm originally from the US but moved to, and became a permanent resident of, Canada. My reasoning? I met a guy from online face to face.. we got along.. I went to visit him.. we ended up getting married the next year.

Living in a country that's different from the one you grew up in does take some getting used to, that's for sure. I find myself getting homesick and nostalgic even after having been here for over 4 years.
