Epidavros, stated that a singulary is when mathmatics fails or behaves irregularly, in that case are there other examples of singularity in our universe?......and what are they...can I go see one?

the universe WAS a singularity (everything packed into an tiny tiny tiny space) before the big bang. So, i guess, technically, you can go see the consequence of a singularity by opening your eyes. but see one as a singularity, i have no idea, sorry.

There are no visible singularities. Among other problems with seeing them is that they are immeasurably dense, and very very small despite their high mass. But one way we know about singularities is what they produce: black holes.

There is a black hole in the center of the milky way galaxy.

A division by zero is a type of "singularity". If you think of any property that is associated with volume or space, (length^3), say density (mass/volume) then compress it to a point with no dimension. You essentially are dividing by zero.

The density function is now undefined.

Hi. I think the point is that 'normal' physical laws do not. and can not. determine anything about a singularity. I can't think of a visible singularity.

They are metaphysical so, none exists for you to see. It's a bit unusual, don't you think, to base a theory on something that you can't even pony up the math to create?

but they're probably all around us, just so small that they are inconsequential.
