Yes, but it will only save PS1 games. In order to play both PS1 and PS2 games on your PS2, you will need both cards - The PS1 card saves PS1 games only, and the PS2 card saves PS2 games only.

yes you can put ps1 memcory card in to ps2,it doesn't work the other way and you can't sand ps2 games on ps1 memcory card ps1

no, ps2 memory cards are 8mb and ps1 memory cards are 1mb, there isnt enough room fo a lot of game saves on it. plus the firmware is different so it will not work properly

yes. but you have to make sure it's a sony card and not one from a third party, otherwise it won't work. and like the other's have said, you can only save your PS1 game to your PS1 card.

NO IT CANT, ONLY FOR SAVING PS1 GAMES...
SO IF YOU WANT TO SAVE A PS1 GAME, I SUGGEST USING THE PS1 MEMORY CARD TO SAVE ROOM ON THE PS2 MEMORY CARD.
THAT WAY YOU'LL HAVE MOR GAME SAVES..
