Country is all I listen to. I mostly like the male singers--anything from Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, Lonestar, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, the newer stuff from Kenny Chesney and Brad Paisley. My favorite song is What a Beautiful Day by Chris Cagle!

There are other categories I recommend, such as Hindu, Filipino and Korean music, and separating R&B from Rap, plus separating Classic Rock, Metal and Pop. But Classic and New Country are also too close together, and require separate attention. I would make it a Classic Country and Bluegrass section, as our roots are intertwined. Put my name on that list with all my Y!A points from the music category.

Well my very best country music singer of all time was the wonderful Patsy Cline...nobody better and I can remember the announcement of her death like it was yesterday and how they played all her records on the radio all day and night. And you just knew how very loved she was by everyone.

I LOVE country music and my favorite singer is Collin Raye...his songs hit home with me...he puts so much meaning and feeling into every song that it is unbelievable!!! Wait...most of his songs are great...there is one called "that's my story and i'm sticking to it" that i just cannot stand!!! but most of his songs have real meaning if you listen to the words.....especially "the 11th commandment"....just BEAUTIFUL!!!!
