Always always go the legal route when ever you have to deal with children. This way you have papers to back you if you want to see your child. If for any reason the mother holds animosity against you and tries to get you in trouble with the authorities you have paper work to protect you. Good luck to you and your daughter!

You need to go by the book. Your daughter doesn't know you after all this time. She has probably been poisoned against you. Get a lawyer, get the cops or FBI if your daughter was taken illegally, or if your visitation rights have been denied by the mother. Just going and trying to find her on your own will result in all sorts of problems for YOU, under the law. Best to operate within the system on this sort of a problem. Best of luck to you!

Take the legal approach. As her father, you have rights. Don't do anything to mess up your chances of being with her. Good luck.
