I think if you looked deeper you would find that if they are truly successful they use scheduling. They may not walk around with lists, and schedules, but they analyze their day and line up their priorities in their minds. They rely on others to keep them scheduled, such as secretaries, assistants, wives. Scheduling keeps you organized and allows you to free your mind to be more creative. You don't have to remind yourself constantly not to forget something, because it is scheduled. You don't have to be forgiven for forgotten events, meetings, appointments. It is much for freeing than you might think. Try it.

There are professions where scheduling is of minor importance. But in most, people must coordinate their efforts, and that takes being in the same place at the same time in order to meet and confer, at the very least.
Scheduling is of minimal importance to painting and sculpture, most creative arts which are done solo. But even then, if you do not need to schedule your daily routine, you still need the discipline to meet deadlines.
There's no getting around it, time is indeed money. You need to discipline your time or you will not make money. The way you do that will depend on the sort of work you do, but you need to do it.

Well, if you're me, it's completely essential for organized living. I have 3 kids, a husband in the Army and a dog. If I don't schedule my days things just don't get done, they pile up! Family life is just too hectic.

It depends on the person's brain capacity for remembering to do things, if you have a good memory, than you don't need scheduling!
