Does anyone also know how tirgonometry relates to aviation?

Trig is just one of those courses prior to specialization that most science/math students have to take. Case in point, during my first yr mech engineering studies, I had to take geology. As for aviation, trig is defifitely applicable. It will used to calculate al types of parameters such as forces related to lift, drag and trajectory.

Position triangulation and slope come to mind for aviation. Machinists use trig and so do electronics techncians.

Hi. Having good analysis skills would make you a better diagnostician. Trig would demonstrate and teach you some of those skills.
