I want to make a realistic replica in life size of Han Solo in carbonite to hang on my wall. No-one on the internet seems to have one for sale so I will just have to make one - but how?

Ask George Lucas. Maybe he'll let you have the one from the movie.

Well first you need to contact harrison ford...invite him over to your city in the clouds house and trick him into sitting in a carbonite chamber...i would suggest giving him some alcohol or something like that...maybe turkey it makes people tired...then simply close the door and bada bing bada boom...instant han solo in carbonite!

I don't know how you'd do it but, if by some miracle, you get Harrison Ford to jump in a vat of carbonite for you ask him to not stick his lips out so much next time, it just made him look ugly.

You obviously would have to get a casting of Harrison Ford's face to start out. I think that would pretty much be the hardest part of the whole thing.......the body can be approximated or you could use someone else for the cast of that. The rest is just to use whatever material you choose to put it all together.

Wow, that's pretty interesting.
I guess you could do a paper mache kind of thing. Don't know how good it would look.
Or plaster, maybe.
If you have time and money to spend, I'd go for some sort of metal, though.

They are avaolable, just keep looking.

However, a cheaper option would be to buy the lifesize cardboard cut out they make. Check out movie shops & Ebay.

for best results you need to use a resin kit. you will need to make a decent cast out of plaster first and use that to mould the resin on. if it to hang on the wall just wait until one comes on ebay.
