I bought tickets for a stage show from ebay on Tuesday night. The seller had listed in her description that the tickets had not yet been delivered to her, but she had a confirmation that they're on their way and would send this to the winning bidder. I haven't received the confirmation so I haven't yet paid. By this morning I'd already had two rude messages from her sent through ebay, saying that she has sent the confirmation to me already, she wont send it again, and that she will relist the item as she cannot afford to wait for me!
I've been using ebay for years and I always thought the buyer was allowed three days to pay?
This seller has very low feedback, although they're all positive and all for tickets.
Am I right to be wary of her? Or should I pay without seeing the confirmation? Any advice would be appreciated, thank you.

I would wait. Notify ebay of what is going on so that they too are informed. And it is rude of the seller to be hounding you. It sounds to me as if the Seller might need your money to pay for the tickets themselves.

As both an ebay seller and buyer, I say beware. Try to contact her by email so that it is documented. Politely but assertively state that you have not received the confirmation of the tickets and the agreement was that you pay upon receipt of confirmation. Ask her to resend confirmation so that the issue can be resolved. Tell her that you will give her 24 hours to respond to your request before you file a dispute.with ebay. DO NOT PAY FOR THE TICKETS UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED YOUR CONFIRMATION THAT THE TICKETS ARE BEING DELIVERED! Honestly, it sounds like she has been scamming from the start. If she does not send you confirmation then file a dispute with ebay based on your purchase not being received. Good luck

I wouldn't go ahead with the deal. Technically she is selling something that isn't even in her possession, and to me that's not right.
If she can't even prove or supply you with the item being purchased, then she has no business getting paid. Are you buying a confirmation or tickets?
At the very best I would offer half the amount upon receipt of the confirmation and half when the tickets are being sent.

Do not pay, I am an ebayer, both buyer and seller, I Have had this happen to me twice now, not with tickets, but other items, contact ebay live chat 1st, and talk to them, they will guide you in the right direction. BTW the two that sold me things had ratings in the hundreds, all positive, and my luck they decided to go back on me. They are no longer registered users, but don't be taken.

I wouldnt pay. Since shes already sent you rude messages, whos to say that she wont accept payment and relist the tickests anyway? More than likely shell leave you negative feedback, but thats just the chance youll have to take. DONT PAY!

Its always smart to be cautious, if there is any way to see the confirmation, then you should go for it.

you should report this to eBay and let them take care of it. I have almost got scammed before. Its not worth you getting robbed. Just let them take care of it all.
