What do you think about N. Korea's latest attempt to get at their frozen assets overseas? Don't need a lot of politcal rhetoric, just your thoughts. Does this seem a little transparent, to to be willing to return to negotiations at this time?

Negotiations are necessary, we can't live without them.
What else can we do.
Sanctions would not work. N Korea is already under various sanctions.
and about assets overseas
I dont think they have any worthy assets overseas so nobody cares.
