I'm always hearin that Kobe will surpass MJ as the greatest player of all time. Thats ridiculous. does anybody agree

kobe is very much so overrated.he has no other high profile player on his team since shaq is gone.i dont like him b/c hes cocky, and a showoff.hes good,but mj was better.now give lebron a few more years and he mite be better.

On my list MJ is number 2 all time, whose number one? well it's none other than the great Magic Johnson. Kobe is not overrated but he will never be as good as MJ was. Besides the only reason why kobe can surpass MJ is because MJ screwed up and came back to play for the wizards, and MJ was way smarter than Kobe because Kobe couldn't make it in college (as a student) unlike MJ who went to college, and that is why I think he is the GM of the Bobcats right now.

Ok how is kobe over rated: he is the best player in the game right now, and dont any of u sayin he is cocky and stuff like that Michael Jordan was cocky too u r just to ashamed to admit it. First of all no1 says he's gonna surpass MJ as the best. Second how can u call him overrated,Is it because ur jealous? Hes one of the league premier scorers and he's made the NBA all-defensive team just about every year he's been there. He shouldve been the MVP last season and hes got a good shot to being this year. Hes a 3-time champion, sure it was with Shaq but u should know basketball is not an individual sport.

M.J. has always been my favorite player and will be the greatest of all-time, no question. Though I am a big fan of Kobe's, he will not be better than M.J. His skill and competiveness are unquestionable, but Michael had that something that no other athlete in anysport had.
