Now that is a difficult question. I've read every book he's written and enjoyed them all immensely. However, if I have to narrow it down, I would say:

Tick Tock - because his sense of humour really shows through, and I think it really stands out.

The Odd Thomas books - the main character is so appealing, and they manage to be quirky, terrifying and amusing at the same time.

The Door to December - the first book I read, and the one that got me hooked.

unusual Thomas. It merely had a different experience to it than his different books, and that i loved the ask your self ending. It grew to become right into a e book that I picked up many cases, I had examine the jacket conceal returned and returned....it merely did no longer appear as if something i might rejoice with. ultimately, i grew to become into out of Koontz books to envision and that grew to become into the sole one left on the time....i offered it and enjoyed it!

Odd Thomas - haunting with a soul - very rare for a book of this genre. Although I'll admit to liking "Watchers" as well.
