I don't think so. It depends on the person. I tried three times and it hurt so bad that I just quit and stuck to the sanitary towels/pads. You should try and if it's too painful, you can use pads. However, it's an individual choice. Not every person is the same.

Yes, a virgin can wear tampons. Your virginity has nothing to do with tampons. You have to make sure that you are inserting them correctly because that is where the pain will come from. My mother used to discourage me from wearing them when I was in the 8th grade because she said that virgins couldn't wear them. I thought that they were better for school since the teachers wouldn't give out many bathroom breaks. Try the teen ones if you aren't sure and then see how that works out.

Yes, a virgin can wear tampons. It will not tear the skin that shows the doc you are a virgin. You should always wear the smallest one possible according to how much you bleed. Also be sure to read the insert on toxic shock syndrome. If this is some thing you cannot talk to your mom or someone standing in for her, please speak to your doc or think about going to a local planned parenthood for more help. They usually speak to you in confidence, there are now laws in most states. Not sure how old you are but big kudos to you for sill being a virgin. Take care.

Yes.

There are also slender (for teens) tampons but a regular tampon should be fine regardless. Use one w/ an applicator if using for the first time. I like Tampax Pearl or Playtex Gentle Glide.

Of course. Just learn to put them in properly. Your mother would be the best teacher for this. When I was in school on the swim team, I had to learn how or tell the coach I have my period every month, not happening. My mom taught me and I never had a problem. Good luck.

Yes. It does not go far enough into the vagina to break the hymen which you "lose" or have broken when you have sexual intercourse
