yeah my little girl had that for awhile, its cos they've been in water for 9 months...bound to dry out a little bit. once it all comes off its fine, just use a tiny bit of baby oil after a bath, makes it go quicker.

:D
Congrats!

Thats normal my son was flakey from the day he was born and it lasted about 2 weeks. I tried baby oil, lotions everything but nothing worked, but what did work was a good wash in Johnsons baby bed time bath, once a night with a wash cloth. It helps just to get all the dry skin off and the bed time bath stuff has no soap in it so it doesnt dry the skin it moisterises it. After doing this for a week it was all gone. I have been using it daily since he was 1 week old and havent had a problem since. Hope this helps

yes it is very normal, use lots of lotion and baby oil it will help. It is because the baby was in water for 9 months and now babies skin is drying out. Just keep skin moisturized as much as possible.

Yes that is very normal. Keep putting lotion on it though, so it can heal and not be dry any more. Most babies skin peel right after there born!

Yes it is normal.
My daughter had cradle cap and baby acne. I think they all get it. You may notice more "peely" skin around their ears, fingers, and toes.
How old is your baby?
With peeling skin around the scalp my Dr. suggested using a babies soft toothbrush - lightly twice a week. (she was 4 months at the time).

Yes this is due to the amount of time that the baby was in the womb. Tends to happen when they overstay their welcome in there but that is normal just use baby oil or baby lotion. It will go away in about a week.

yes its absolutely normal. its just the dead skin cells peeling off. no need to worry at all, just use lotion.

was the baby over due? that's usually a sign that the baby was "baking" for too long in the womb. But it is DEFINITELY normal for that, as long as its flaky, not chunks of skin!! :D

Yes very normal and don't put any lotion on it yet. It will block the oil glands and cause a rash.

Yes it's normal - Use Baby Magic lotion by playtex if you want it to look better.
