The answer is no. If ever a president made such a move, to mantain power (emergency powers, anyone?), the congress, supreme court, and the people themselves would have the right and indeed, the responsibility to remove him from office, by force if necessary.
Edit: Peace, why can you libs not just answer a question without blasting the president and regurgitating the same old talking points?

No, this is not true. However, if the President is near the end of his term or up for reelection, Americans are typically uncomfortable replacing him because he knows the enemy and has been dealing with the war issues. If he chooses to step down, that is certainly his prerogative, and in some cases, the right thing to do.

No, and praise the Lord for that! Whoever told you that doesn't know jack about the constitution and its amendments. I'm fairly certain there is a good number of the population, including King George the 2nd himself, who would love for that to be true.
But, the real story is, that A president has a 2 term limit. Each of those terms is four years long. When the first term is over, he can go up for re-election, if he wins (or does a good enough job of stealing the election...see Greg Palast's The Best Democracy Money can Buy) then he can only serve for four more years. once he is done, he cannot serve in the office again!

Yes, it is TRUE, we ARE in the middle of a war. The Constitution states that a presidential term is FOUR years, war or no war. So, unfortunately, we would loose Pres. Bush in about two years. Hopefully, we will get another good Republican in the office to keep the country safe.

Rush Limbaugh might like you to believe that but it's not true. There have been at least two instances where one president's term ended and another took over in the midst of a war.
Truman / Eisenhower in 1953 (Korea)
Johnson / Nixon in 1969 (Vietnam)
On January 20, 2009 Dubya is done.

No. That is not true. When his term ends the next elected president will take office. Presidential terms are constitutionally limited to 4 years each.

No, that is not true at all. The election and term laws do not change during time of war.
