brakes or power steering

It is the Right Front Wheel Bearing. If you turn left and right (in an empty parking lot), you will be able to 'play' with the noise. Simulate a slalom (esses) as low speeds. The growl noise level will vary with the amount of weight on the front as you turn back and forth.

It is not that hard of a job to replace the wheel bearing assembly, but have reputable mechanic perform the repairs if you have any doubts.

Good luck and don't forget the repairs.

CV joint could be about to fail. Noise from the joint rises when you make a turn. This is a common problem on all Front Wheel Drive type of vehicles. A front end specialist will know after taking a test drive. Good Luck!

Since it only does it when turning; check the power steering fluid level first. Easy check and easy fix. If not that, then take to a mechanic for bearing checks, etc.
