There is a size limit on email attachments. Considering that this is a DVD quality movie file, I'd say that it is most likely way too big to email. Yahoo mail has a 10MB limit on attachments. If your file is only a little over this, you could try compressing it using winzip or winrar. Otherwise, you could upload the file to a website like rapidshare.de. They allow you to store a file on their servers and they give you a unique link which you email to whoever you want to send the file to. They then go to the rapidshare site and download it themselves.

You realize that only 5 minutes of video is a lot of information that needs to be attached. Most email clients might not even support attachments of that size. It may take a few minutes for all of the information to be uploaded and attached. You need patience, it won't be immediate.

Attachments are limited to a few meg, less than 2 I think. Your file is too large to send as an attachment.

If you need to upload it to the hosts site (Such as hotmail accounts) it will take quite a while. Just let it run for a little longer.

If your using a program to get your emails, then it will take time when you press the SEND button.

An alternative method would be to upload it to a server of some sort. (Try www.Photobucket.com, they allow movie uploads). Then give your recipients the link via email.
