well if ur stranded in the desert without food water no car no legs no map no nothin then you're gonna need a darn sight more than hope....but yeah hope's all ya really need.....sex helps too, its healthy fors ya : P

To survive we obviously need more than hope (food, ect) But I believe hope is a very powerful emotion.Without it life can become bleak and overwhelming.To have hope is to have an essential mental tool to keep us pushing forward till things get better.

No--we don't only need hope. Like in a relationship we do not only need love, we need more than just hope.

I'm sure the victims of Nagasaki were FULL of hope but most of them didn't survive.

It also depends on the strength to survive of each person, not just the hope.

Yeah, hope is a big one. However, food, water, and sleep are pretty important too.

No, hope in and of itself is not enough but it is surely one of the main ingredients.
