Could be a lot of reasons....small fuel leak in the lines, so small that the gas drys up before dripping on the ground.
I would suggest hunting for the leak. Open your hood and smell, if its strong, it might be there. Also look under te car at the fuel lines and look for any "wetness" on the lines.
Also, during the oil change, the fuel lines may have been hit/damaged. Also check your gas cap sometimes they crack and the gas fumes escape.

There are two likely culprits for this. First is that the vent line from the fuel tank has come loose. It runs to a canister under the hood and then vents into the intake. Sometimes work under the hood can accidentally dislodge the tubing and the result is the smell of gas. This will also decrease your gas milage a little since your gas is evaporating out of the tank into the atmosphere instead of into the intake.
The other is a possible leaking seal where the filler neck enters the tank. This is common in older cars, but I think it less likely in a car that is only 4 years old.

Some times the fuel air flow filter gets blocked and need replacing. It smells terrible especially after fueling up. Another thing is that unleaded fuel evaporates very quick so check for sure that it isn't a leak just to be safe.

I had a similar issue with a previous vehicle that turned out to be a leak. Since you are smelling fuel you should probably go on and take it to your mechanic for repair so you don't end up with a car-b-q on the highway.

There may be a leak in the neck of the gas tank. My old beetle had this & the frame was full of gas! I am *really* glad I am not a smoker, or I probably would still be smoking from that explosion!

Have hubby check the evaporative canister for cracks and/or damage. It's supposed to trap fumes and release them back into the engine on command from the computer. :-)=

the line to the tank from the fuel filter is leaking..you don't see gas because it evaporates.
