Yes...I was checked last week (I'm 38wks 4days now)..And was only dilated to 1/2 cm.
I go in today, And am hoping I'm quite a bit more dilated...Lol.

at this point you should be going to the doc. every week..they will also check you by now..some woman start to dialate as early as 35 weeks, but that doesn't mean that your going to go into labor early, it's just your body getting ready for child birth

I was checked at 35 weeks, but then again I was in the hospital with preeclamspia.

my doctor is checking me tomorrow for it bc i am already having contractions and sharp pains but you should be getting checked bc you can have the baby 2 weeks early or 2 weeks late!! good luck

They might.. usually around this time you are only about a centimetre, and will stay there till labour. (10 centimetres is fully dilated)

I don't think they will unless you are having contractions. They usually just measure, weight, check your blood presure and check your urine.
