i'm going on a camping trip while i'm on my period! this might not seem so bad to some people but i have killer craps and bloating. do ya'll have any suggestions on what to do during the trip to relieve the pain?

the things that work best for me are lots of water, midol, and aleve!!!! If any of those things don't help then i don't think anything over the counter will!!!!

make sure you have plenty of water to drink and take some midol or tylenol with you to help relieve the cramps. Been there done that, you will be just fine. Have a great time.

that sucks, i get crippling cramps as well, i usually have to take at least one day off from work.
other than midol, Id say buy those portible heat strips that think icyhot makes, im not sure of the maker, but you canfind them in any pharmacy. they stick to your skin and you wear them under your clothes. that should help.

the answers are good....
make sure you stay comfortable...I agree with the extra supplies and plenty of meds....
also you may want to try a portable hot water bottle..you will have access to extra water and a fire to heat it up...it may be just the thing. (especially if it gets colder at night)

if you are on the pill...you can skip it altogether. Just skip your last week of pills and start a new pack. If not...make sure to bring extra tampons/pads...plenty of ibuprofen and keep yourself hydrated.
