That littie voice is temptation, and every human is tempted with something. The Bible sayes if we resist that little voice it will flee from us. But do not think it will leave for good, but one get stronger every time we resist.

It's true you aren't a bad person, but honey, you need to realize if you are thinking these thoughts, there is no way you can "Accidently" act on them. ANytime you put thought into something before you act on it, it's called pre-meditation.

I think I should also reassure you that each and every one of us has had this thought at some point in our lives. It's a normal part of growing up. However, if you are having these thoughts frequently, it may be a compulsion and you may want to dig a deeper in your soul searching to find out why you feel the need to steal. If it's a thrill thing...find something risky to do that's legal...you'lll get the same "high". If it's just to see if you can, be aware that the minute you enter any store, there are about four cameras on you and no matter how clever you try to be, they are going to catch you. Once they catch you, you'll have a record and won't be trusted....it's not worth it.

What this really comes down to is your will power and knowing right from wrong. You already know it's wrong, so you are half way there. Just be strong enough to resist the temptation. If you don't feel that you can, you have two options. One: you can seek therapy to work this out, or Two: never leave your house!

I wish I had better advice hon, but I don't personally know you, nor do I know what else is going on in your life. From reading what you wrote, I gather that you know this is wrong and it is a problem that you want help for....that says alot. It says you don't want to committ this crime and admitting that was honestly the hardest part. I wish you luck sweetie, and remember, unless it's a life or death situation, nothing is worth taking things that don't belong to you.

Yeah...well...we all have little voices in our heads. If I told you what mine always says you'd lock your doors and never leave the house.

I think you should begin to become concerned when after the voice tells you to steal it....you slip it under your coat. Once you start acting out then you have a real problem.

How come women never havea voice go through their minds that say things like "Boy Id like to get under the sheets with that guy" or something like that?

Life is so strange.

It's called having kleptomaniac impulses!

A kleptomaniac is a person that may steal uncontrollably without realization In some cases medications can be used to help people diagnosed with kleptomania....

Ever tried to fight this 'little' voice in your head? If yes, then what really happens and how do you feel about it? What are the things that you usually 'steal'? Are they trivial or expensive stuff?

Give more details please.
