Depends on what college you want to go. You probably would need atleast an 1800 for the higher ranked colleges.

" SAT scores have risen significantly over the past decade. Since 1991, verbal scores have increased 7 points while math scores have increased 14 points. This year, more than 20 percent of SAT test-takers achieved a combined verbal and math score of 1200 or higher on the exams, and 587 students scored a perfect 1600. "

It's a slightly above average.

The average scores for each section is roughly 500 apiece, thus the total score would add up to around 1500. So a 1660 is slightly above average.

A perfect SAT score is 2400. Amongst college-bound high school seniors, in 2006, only 238 obtained a perfect score.

According to the percentile scale, someone who gets a 1600 performed better on the test than roughly 65% of the people who took it.

It's not an outstanding score, but it's definitely above the mid-level score.

it all depends on which SAT you're referring to....the new one or the old one.....the max score for the old SAT was 1600.....so i'm assuming you made your 1660 on the new one.....where the max is 2400......so you can figure it out.....1660 is roughly 70% of the max score.....so not terrible....but not the greatest....
