He's obviously not too bright if he couldn't forsee the disaster in his words before he spoke them. At the very least, he should have recognized their "double meaning". Although I think it is more than a stretch to imply his words were intended ONLY FOR THE PRESIDENT!?!?!

Anyone in his position for as long as he has been in politics... There is no excuse for an error of this magnitude especially on the eve of elections.

I can't help but think now and again that there is something else going on here, more to it. Regardless, I can't stand the man.

If the people of Mass would look at John Kerry and Ted Kennedy and see what the rest of America sees they would have been gone along time ago. The only thing that worries me is if he is defeated in the next election, being one of the heirs to the KETCH-up fortune, his wife's life would be in grave danger.

As a Republican I can say that John Kerry is the best thing that could've happened to the Republican party right before elections.

So many close races, and so many souls to inform of this sound byte before next Tuesday. :-)

I've had enough of him before his last "joke" (he says) but it is up to the Massachusettes voters to vote him out. I put little faith in that happening.

It amazes me what he gets away with. If a republican had said what he said it would have been all over the front page but somehow they spinned it to make it Bush's fault as usual.

I couldn't agree more. I expected there to be a headline with him on Yahoo!, and a story about how he only put out on the internet that his statement was misinterpreted, but no - apparently it's blown over - or the liberal media doesn't want to cause poor Mr. Kerry any grief.

I had enough of this scumbag last year when he was accusing American Troops in Iraq of being terrorists. I hope he comes down with a long, painful, debilitating fatal disease.
