Kiwi, to get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.
After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.
After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.
Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

If you are having regular (2-3x/week) sex, not taking birth control, and still not pregnant after four years, the time has come (the walrus said) to visit a fertility specialist. Talk to your ObGyn about getting a referral.
That said, infertility treatment is expensive, emotionally difficult, and not something you want to get into unless your spouse will be supportive. And if you really don't think you could love an adopted child, that's not something you should do either. You guys need to have a serious talk about your feelings before you make a decision on how to proceed.

Don't give up. A couple we know tried for years to have a baby. After many tests she was told she cant get pregnant. So they decided to go with adoption. They were put on a long waiting list.
And then after 10 years of trying to have a baby and giving up the thought of having one of their own they got pregnant. A lot the doctors know. Now they have a beautiful baby girl. They are still going to adopt when the waiting period is up.

I don't know if you would go for it, but if you go to Ovulex.com they have fertility pills... that work. I was told by my doctor that I would never have a baby. We did all the test between me and my husband and I didn't want to believe it. I was online for a long time, every day and I found them. I bought 6 bottles, and I was able to sell 3 on ebay since all it took was 3 bottles and I got my little boy! If the site isn't ovulex.com... you can do a search for ovulex and find their site. They are trying to make it a perscription that you have to pay more money for, but so far it's still a dietary suppliment and is available to anyone trying to have a baby and having problems getting there. I tried for soo long too, and I cried when I saw I was pregnant! I drove right to my husbands work and told him to come outside!

Don't be afraid to go to the doctor about this. You are letting precious time go by and when it comes to fertility, every month that passes by counts. The doc will check your hormone levels to see if the source of the problem is there. He may send you to get a pingogram which will check if your fallopian tubes are not clogged. If they are, the exam itself helps unclogged them. You may have some growths in your uterus that if removed will increase your chances of getting pregnant. Your ovaries may simply not release the eggs once formed and you will need some hormonal stimulation. I had that done and it helped me conceive. You can have any number of problems and it could turn out that very simple to solve, if you just get checked out!

I would say if you haven't already, you should both go to a fertility specialist so they can make a diagnoses to pinpoint the problem. In most cases they can put you on either Clomid or Metformin to get you to ovulate normal. You did not specify whether you're having normal cycles or not. Hopefully you can get this figured out asap. *Baby dust* to you!

You need to visit with your doctor, no one on here can tell you if you're infertile or not. Set up an appointment and your doctor can do fetility tests to see if you are able to conceive. Best of luck and my prayers are with you.

No one here is going to be able to help you. You will need to go to your Ob and discuss your options. Thats the only way you will know.
