12 for boys and 14 for girls....you must have ID showing proof of age (or an original birth certificate) or face arrest and incarceration where you will certainly meet a fellow named Bubba or a gal named Hilda.

Usely kids out grow this and do not want to go trick or trating no more t a certain age. I think at the age of 13 or 14 should be the limit.

One should trick-or-treat as long as the individual wants to. It's a matter of personal taste, not sex. Although to address the question, I would have to blindly guess that girls probably stop first on average.

It depends on the child. It may not be the same for both. I see boys trick or treating longer than girls.

I don't think there are any age limits as long as they are having fun. I know my family doesn't mind handing out candy to anyone dressed in costume and in the spirit of Halloween, it is all good fun!

yeah I can't stand it when a 18 year old comes to my door with a pillow case asking for candy. but on the other hand I did that too up to 16. LOL I say as long as you can get away with it without getting to much dirty looks from the giver.
