If your stepmom has raised you since you were 5 and you are now 23 is it wrong to be in a relationship with her. Even if your dad and her are not together. They have been divorced for 3 years and he does not know what is going on. It just seems that she knows me from head to toe. Im so confused but I love her and my dad.

this kind of relationship is destined for failure and sure to cause alot of broken hearts and broken relationships....the best thing to do is stay away from her and try to get over being in love with her.....good luck

Yes it would be like sleeping with your real mom since she has been your "real" mom for the span of your life.
Technicaly you could pursue a relationship with her because there are no blood ties, How do you really feel about it? You love her, yes. Do you lust after her? Does she give you that "funny feelin"? I assume you may be sleeping with her already? I would keep Dad out of the loop.

Maybe you have such a deep love for her you want to fill the void in her life that your father left and she is clining to the emotions that you pour into her and longs to have your father back and feels this bond is what she needs. And you think she's hot and want to get laid, sounds kinda sick but cool.

hmmm. i thought about it some, there's no legal reason why you can't be together. Its unusual relationship, but she's not your mother and i suppose it's ok. I don't know how your dad would take it, but if he has feelings for her it would hurt, and if he hates her it would complicate things too. Maybe if there were more time since the split he would accept it. There may be some issues of whether she respects you as a man later, or still views you as a kid, having to do with the age difference more than the past.

If she has raised you, then it's like your mother. Do you have a problem finding women of your own? It doesn't matter that your dad and her are divorced, she is still a parental figure. I would say use your best judgement seeing as you are of age to make stupid decisions, but please think about what you are going to be embarking on.

I think it's wrong. If she was your stepmom for 15 years than she should think of you as her child.Either way it's just wrong.

Yes, it is. For all intents and purposes, she's your mother, and should be treated as such. Shame on both of you!
