No. It should have started feeling better by the 2nd day or after at least 6 doses of the antibiotic. Sometimes the antibiotic may not be the right antibiotic for the bacteria that is causing the infection making it resistant to getting well. If he seems to be in just as much pain as he was when you first took him, and he has taken at least 6 doses of the medication, I would call the doctor back and tell the nurse. Also giving a bottle of milk or formula while he is lying down in bed, can cause ear infections. Hold him with his head elevated so none runs back into the ears.

If he has only taken it for 3 days then he will need to take it for a few more days before it is all better. My 11 month old has been on amoxicillin twice for ear infection and both times she has had to take it for about a week or so and she still messes with her ears untill like that last couple days of taken the medicine. So I wouldn't worry unless he is done with the medicne and his ears are still bothering him.

NO you should take it as indicated by the doctor. Amoxicillin is a type of antibiotic that is specialized for face infections, such as for ear. Normally you are asked to take it between 5-7 days.

Amoxicillin is an antibotic, it clears up infection normally it should take anywhere from 3 to 10 days to clear up. Pain should be leaving around the third day, but if the pain seems to be getting worst which it shouldn't I suggest you take him back to the hospital.

It should be getting better now. I don't know why doctors start with Amox. Everytime my son had an ear infection they gave him this and it didn't work and had to change to something stronger. You can also get Similisan. They are all natural ear drops that help with ear pain. This was recommended by my son's doctor.

It is possible. If the infection is severe enough, it may take the whole course of the medicine to work. My baby has had frequent ear-infections her whole life and even though she is almost 2, they seem to get worse each time.

heavily, i'd carry a metamorphosis of clothing and a few diapers. A blanket/sweater if it is going to be chilly such as you reported, and the toddler provider/sling. you're particularly overthinking this. i bypass out all day with my 3 year previous and 3 month previous many times. I positioned on toddler interior the sling, carry the stroller if needed for the three year previous, and have some greater diapers than I many times would. there is not any desire for a suitcase.
