Um, it's a database. You put data in it. You query data and get reports. You stick them on the net and have dynamic websites. Databases do that. However, this is Access we're talking about which is an unmitigated pile of crap. The only thing Access helps is the sale of painkillers when users repeatedly punch themselves in frustration.

It's a database system. Does the same thing that other database systems do... manages and organizes data/information.
