I was pregnant when I was 16 and had my son when I was 17 ... I had to do corresspondance and go on sick leave from work because I was so sick ... it's REALLY hard espcially after baby is born your so tired all the time and you have your hands full enough with the baby... if I could do it over I would have waited until I graduated high school before haveing a baby.. I LOVE my son and wouldnt trade him for the world but if I could do it over again I would have been alot more careful and at least waited until I was done school... It's hard enough work being a mom without adding the stress of school into the mix.

No, especially if by school, you mean high school. You already have a hard enough time doing all the homework and making time for activities. You aren't financially supporting yourself or in a stable marriage (in most cases). You don't have the fundamentals down on bringing a child into the world to a stable environment. I'm in my last semester in college, happily married for two years and we're still waiting until I have my degree in hand before trying to conceive. Babies are a lot more expensive, emotionally demanding (think about less time with your significant other or diverted attention to the baby instead) and a huge responsibility that someone so young may not (usually aren't) ready to take on.

The only baby I had in school was the one I had to carry around for a class, that thing cried all the time!!! And if I hated that baby, I am certain I still don't want one to this day, and I'm 24.

Please clarify. Do you mean taking the baby with you while you are in school? My answer would be no--the baby is a huge distraction from your class for not only you but everyone else in the room. Wait until you're done with school before having kids.

If you are talking about getting pregnant while you are still in school, I would not to choose to...wait til you are out of school. If you get pregnant while you are still in school, then by all means, have the baby and either keep it or give it up for adoption. (Keeping it being my first choice.)

I didn't choose to but I did. It wasn't hard only because I stayed at home with her all day and he went to work. So either my mom or him would keep her when I left so she didn't have to leave the house. Without that support it would've been much worse. Like the time I had to take her to class because he couldn't get off and I couldn't miss. I approved it with my teacher first. Plus she was only 2 months and slept the whole time.

No. I would have an education.
You don't have a baby 'til you grow up (and hopefully get married first).
