Study until you feel you know the information. Some nights you might study 2 hours but others a half an hour. It all depends on what you need to know and how well you know it.

everyone ( high school and college ) students should study for one hour /class hour. And review material within 24 hours of the last study time to retain the information.

Our Guidance teacher tells us to study twice the time of the subject.
Example: 1 hour of Math Lecture
Study 2 hours of Math
Which doesn't give enough time for a day...
so I only study twice the hard subjects.

the number of hours r not inmportant, ur grasping power is important, if u manage to pay attention in class and grasp everything ur professors teach u then u need not sit for a long time
