I don't know how any producer or director could put their name on that. I think he is the worst of the worst. He is not only offensive he is totally repulsive.

I'm sure the Kazakh's will get the joke. He's just carrying on a great tradition of stereotypes from certain countries. PC got out of hand and I'm glad to see that comedy's offensive again, but a clever offensive unlike the old offensive stuff like Bernard Manning and Jim Davidson still do. As long as the comic doesn't believe in what his character's saying generally, it's OK as long as thickies don't take after the character seriously (cf Alf Garnett)

His mission in life (as a comedian) is to be offensive thats what will make him rich.
I'm already tired of the whole thing though it's like he's so yesterday already, bring on the next funny guy cos Borat is boring me.

YES and NO

I think he should have made up some name for a fictional country. He obvioulsly had no idea about Kazakhstan, it is not as provincial as he makes out! But who else knows that? It is very funny though

To be honest I don't find him that funny except when he points out how racist some rednecks can be. The point that we get that he's joking, but for some reason, these dumb-asses don't, isn't just funny, but it's a service to us. I agree with the guy who said that the joke isn't on Kazakhstan. The joke's on America!

He is mocking himself and is not trying to offend everybody. Look at Borat a bit like David Brent, cringing.

It's called ironry. He slags of everyone in equal measure whilst appearing only to slate the jews which being one he slates the most.

However making americans look uneducated and ignorant is getting a little boring as it's so easy.

Do you find Little Britain offencive?
Do you find Team America offencive?

How can anyone find a comment by someone offencive to their religious beliefs? If what you believe in is TRUE and RIGHT, nothing any man says can cause you any offence.

If, however, you were to have doubt about your religion, then satire could easily hit a nerve, that could make others wish to murder in Gods name...

Borat is offensive to anyone with a reasonable amount of intelligence.
He's about as hilarious as a fart joke, which is to say that his crap is funny once, and for about five seconds, then it's just dumb.

Islam? Why would you think he is Muslim? He has never said that. To Kazakhstan? Should everyone in the south be offended by My Name is Earl? No. Lighten up.
