My manager sent me and my lower level supervisor this meeting annoncement for today with the following text in the text area: To review and coordinate Corporate Security system functions and duties.

Does this look like it could be something bad?

The thing is that I have this crazy immediate supervisor that nit picks on everything and everyone. I noticed that she was acting strange th eother day and that she stepped out of the office to make a call to the supervisor. At the time I was making ID's and had taken a personal call for about 5 minutes. Anyway, the next morning I got this meeting notice and it is for today. I feel like I may be in for some trouble but hey with my experience it does not matter all that much, I just wanted to confirm that I was not too overly suspicious or anything. Thanks everyone!!!!

Out of personal experience, this could mean that your employer might have a opportunity for you to prove yourself, that may lead to a promotion or a better position in the company. This message tels me that your employer have trust in you and your insight and wants your feedback or opinion about this that was referenced.

It depends on what job responsibilities you have. Does something like that fall under your typical duties? Sounds like a typical waste of time kind of meeting. Do you have a guilty conscience about something?

Hard to tell without additional information, but just on the face of it I'd say no, you're not in trouble.
