Windows, doorways and portals of any type in a dream can be interpreted as an opening to another world or realm. This can be any number of "inner realms", but the beautiful green ones with mountains (was it near the sea-side?) generally represent areas of the astral plane. You should have opened the window and crawled out!! No telling where you might have gone!!

It means you have found what true beauty means to you. Don't you get this strange, inexplicable, but wondrous sentimental feeling when looking at scenery that reminds you of someplace that was important to you? I always do. I think it means it is best that you go out and enjoy the beautiful scenery than staying indoor and look out from the window to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

sounds as though you are really interested in taking a trip into the mountains to get close to Mother Nature. perhaps a weekend trip to the mountains would help develop your communication with nature skills.
