does being on here every depress you and upset you?

Question

I get tired of people in the political section calling me and others on the opposite sides looney, idiots, crazy, etc and saying we shouild be killed, tortured, deported, shot, etc.
I have many timnes spent over two houirs at times trying to help people with heath problem etc. I have been told I have a heart of gold by dozens of people, I reared decent children and was a wonderful teacher, I help so many people, and give out of what little I have and of my time. I cared about my country..but when I come on here I am assaulted by people on the right with such viciousness at times, it becomes very upsetting. I know I am a sensitive person, but that sensitivity is what makes me empathetic and kind to others. Do you ever feel the world is in serious decline...maybe it's cause I am older that I rememeber a time when hate was not so prevalent in general society but when you get on here and on message boards, it seems people are so unkind. Is it because they forget

there are people behnd these oposts, are just mean in their general lives to people and not decent people, or is it that society has just gone so far downhill....since I am older and rememebr when people did nopt act like this..Do things like this also get you down and how do you not let the cruelty of those on here hurt you?

I do believe that society as a whole is on a decline, we are self destructive by nature. You really do seem like a good person, but people who don't share your views on major issues such as politics,religion etc....can be very vicious and mean. It seems they are threatened in a way by opposition and that's why they are lashing out at you instead of having a common respect for your individual opinion. Please don't take it personally, they don't know you. Focus on all the positive things said by those who do, besides if you know in your heart that your a good person then it should not matter what other people think (I know it's easier said than done). I'm a sensitive person too and you'll agree when I say it's a blessing and a curse as well. I've had to harden my heart to some things and keep it soft towards things that really matter. Keep your chin up and try not to let anyone upset you, Take Care.

No they dont upset me, Be smart and confident.
Those kind of people cant survive like us normal people, so they get on the net and ACT like bigshots, They are wimps and dweebs who couldnt even order a BigMac in the drive thru.

I agree, I find it almost amazing how hateful people on here can be while I am here to help people. Why come on a questions/answers forum if you are just here to make rude remarks to the people asking questions and answering them?

i will attempt to take your suggestion. i'm a Siamese twin. My brother is gay. i'm not. He has a date coming over this evening. We in basic terms have one butt. i will attempt to picture positive. thanks.
