i want to start holding horseshows where in the ottawa are can i hold them.

this will be my 1st horseshow that i run myself, so any helpful hints would be great.

i show at local shows thoughout the summer.

get all the volunteers you can. It takes so much to take entries, take money (if involved) hand out numbers (stickers work the best) keep track of who won, blah blah. Some type of spread sheet with the class, entries name, paid, placed, etc will be handy for each class. I only helped at the rodeos some so some of this might night pertain to your show. I would call all the local arena or even private ones. In our area, anyone with an arena might be interested in letting you host the show. Just be sure to get some kind of liability statement signed off to protect yourself. Good luck
