If you have a neutral color like gray on the bottom, go for something a bright and/or dark. Try red, fusia, or go with something dark if you perfer like navy.

If you are fair white, wear a sky blue coloured or a lightly transparent white coloured(only to make love) one.
If you are brown go for the darker Grey(lightly darker than your Short's colour).
If you are black (as I'm) take a T-shirt that has a sportive look or some printed ones like cartoon with light background colours.

Green, a nice grass green brings the neutral grey to life.

Since grey is a neutral color, I think you can wear any color you wish with it (I certainly do!). Go with what you like best, and/or the color that looks best on YOU. Enjoy!
