Okay, I'm gonna put this here. I usually take the pill at 11:00pm every night but last night I forgot my cell phone was on vibrate (it's my pill alarm) and I fell asleep. I woke up at 8:00am but I took it immediately. Last time I had sex was Tuesday night so I'm not worried about that but how long does the pill take to start working in my system again? Do I have to wait 2 weeks again?

It depends on what kind of pill you are taking, but in most cases, just being one day late will not affect you. On mine, if I miss one, I take it as soon as I remember. This means that i take 2 in one day. No back up protection is needed if it is just one. You should read the little insert that comes with your birth control. If there isn't one, call you doc just to be sure!

No you're ok, not to worry. The pill requires 2 weeks to be fully effective. It probably requires a least a week to get off the pill. No you're still in the safe zone, so stay on it. Going off it now and then going back on it is probably bad for your hormonal balance anyway. Look at the package insert or call your doctor --- I'm not a doctor ---, but, I'd say, just don't become lax about your dosing schedule.

ok i believe you should not have a problem . doctors say if you on the pill or some kind of birth control and you want to stop taking it and try to have a baby it could be a few weeks or even a few months befor you can even get pragnet because the stuff has to work its way out of your system exspeciaaly if youve been on the birth control for a long time

No you don't have to wait, if you miss a pill that's alright as long as you regularly take them and haven't missed anymore. Your chances for getting pregnant are slim, and since you took it only a matter of hours late, technically you didnt' miss. Don't stress, you'll be okay.

No, you don't have to wait another two weeks. You did the right thing by taking it immediately.

You only missed one so that isn't bad. Just go back to your regular schedule tonight at 11 and everything should be fine.
