"Project Gutenberg" is a free online library - they have some really excellent works available. Linked below.

many e-books can be found in your public libraries. most good libraries have a few shelves with them. you can also find them on the internet quite easily. good luck.

ps, you can load them onto your i pod if you have one. they are great for long journeys!
