Easy. Buy a Nokia MMCmobile Card for your phone and a multi-card reader for your computer. Make sure your phone is off when you put the card in. Once in, go into your pictures and choose one. In options, opt to move that picture from your phone's memory to the MMCmobile Card. Once you have all the images on your card that you want to put on your computer, turn your phone off, remove the card and insert it into your computer's card reader.
Go into your Start menu and choose "My Computer". Select the card that has your pictures on it. Right click on each picture and choose to send it to "My Documents" or open a file in another window and just "drag-and-drop" the files you want to move.
Seems complicated but once you do it, you will see how easy it is to transfer images. You can also do the reverse and add pictures, sounds, and video to your phone from your computer.
I hope this helps and have fun!

Ritu,
the fact is that the N6600 does not have a facility for a data cable. the following ways will help you transfer data:
1. you can buy a bluetooth dongle at any computer store. they are not expensive, and the price depends on the bluetooth service range. you can pick one up for just Rs450/- once installed, you can connect your mobile with the computer through the bluetooth feature, and tranmit your files to, or from your computer.
2. using an MMC card reader is a good idea. your N6600 will have a memory card inside. transfer the pix you want onto the MMC card and then use a MMC reader (about Rs400/- for a cheap one) to transfer your pix. some local browsing centres may do it for you too, so you don't have to buy one. some laptops/desktops come with an MMC reader built-in.
3. in case you don't have your own PC/laptop, you can use your service provider's GPRS service. once you have the service activated, you can send your pix via MMS (like SMS, but sends multimedia instead) to anyone else's phone (but they should have GPRS service too), or to any POP3 email IDs... this will help you access your pictures anywhere in the world!
hope this has been of help... don't hesitate to write me if you need more clarifications...
enjoy!

Three ways that you can transfer images and other files:
1. If you have a flash card reader, just remove you mmc card from your phone and insert it into the flash card reader and copy the file into a designated location in your pc.
2. Using bluetooth. If you have a bluetooth dongle, connect it into the USB port, and set it up. A cd software usually comes with it. Then activate your phone bluetooth to transfer files over the air. Instant wireless connection!
3. If you have a USB cable, using the software provided by Nokia, you can transfer files in via the cable connected to the pc from the phone.

you have a lot of options to do your job :
1) buy a bluetooth dongle :
bluetooth dongle is a device which resembles a thumb drive.
It can be plugged on to USB port of your computer.
When you buy the dongle, they provide u software driver for the same. You need to install the same so that the dongle works.
the speed of transfer i would rate "3"
A dongle cost Rs.300/350 in chennai
2) buy a datacable :
connect one end to your 6600 and other end to USB in your computer. Install the software given by nokia allong with your mobile.
the speed of transfer i would rate "2"
3) Buy a Card reader :
remove the memory card from your mobile and insert it in the card reader. The card reader has USB interface.
This is fastest method of data transfer, hence i would rate it "1".
A card reader costs Rs.250 in chennai.

you should have an on-line album through your carrier. Just send you images to it. Or you can send them to your e-mail from your phone and save them from there
