only post his 'so-called weak apology' and not go Directly to those he offended? Did my parents teach me the wrong way to apologize?

It only took 5 minutes to get the excuse .. . . Why can't we talk about something else? . . . This is soooo old. What a public, hypocritical statement!!!

Is Johm Kerry supposed to apologize to each and every military person? That would be a helluva start.

Your right it was not an apology. Didn't I hear him say once he would never apologize. or was that before or after something?

Kerry won't apologize to anyone. If he ever decided to do that, he would have to spend years going around the country visiting the millions of people he has attacked, bashed, defamed, insulted and belittled.

No, your parents taught you well. Apparently, Kerry's parents did not teach him as well. But to really apologize admits that you made a mistake - Kerry's statement implies that he did not make a mistake, we were just not intelligent enough to understand his original statement. Insult added to injury. Pitiful.

The righties say he owes an apology to all 140,000 troops in Iraq. Is he supposed to go over there and apologize to them unit by unit ala Patton? Get real.

UPDATE-"I sincerely regret that my words were misinterpreted to wrongly imply anything negative about those in uniform, and I personally apologize to any service member, family member or American who was offended," Kerry said in a statement Wednesday.

"As a combat veteran, I want to make it clear to anyone in uniform and to their loved ones: My poorly stated joke at a rally was not about, and [was] never intended to refer to any troop," he said.

John Kerry, intended to insult our troops just as he did after Vietnam, John Kerry is just as much a communist sympathizer as Jane Fonda and Hillary Clinton.

Easy. You thought wrong. The apology you want is based on your spin of what he said. He apologized for what he meant to say, and apologized for flubbing it. It was his speech, not yours, it was his goof not yours. Get over it.

That was no apology!

WHY DOES BUSH START ILLEGAL AND IMMORAL WARS..AND CAUSE THOUSANDS TO DIE, OR BE CRIPPLED FOR LIFE...AND NOT APOLOGIZE FOR IT? He didn't...Saddam Hussein didn't follow sanctions placed on him and Iraq! Maybe we shouldn't put sanctions on any nation, no matter what, if we aren't going to back them up!
