ie if a company has an automated queueing system, why are we paying for dead time? i feel i should only pay from the moment i am through to the person i want to speak to.
how did we allow ourselves to be defrauded like this.
does anyone else feel like complainiung and trying to get this situation changed?

The connection is the service that you are paying for. The hold time on the other end of the line is not their concern. That's just poor customer service and is not the fault of the service provider. If you're on hold too long then hang up. dummy!

because the connection has been made. Some companies with long automated options have free phone numbers

I noticed in the USA and in Europe you pay for that. But in Canada we pay a flat rate per month and local calls are free. Maybe if enough people complain.....

yea deffo lets start a petition. Stop this bloody rip off, banks are the worst - as if they dont make enough out of us!!!!!!!!
