There are a few good sites you can register on that give you information on this subject and also keep your kids safe from future predators.

Flower is right. Unless he was tried as an adult, his name will not appear on the sex offender registry unless he repeats the offense.
All level three sex offenders above the age of 17 (or tried as adults) can be found on the sex offender registry. The official and most accurate site is:
http://www.nsopr.gov/
Their are other really good sites, but this is the official one. In some states (like my state of New York), level 2s are also listed. You can find out information on a level 1 sex offender by contacting your state's registry by phone. There is a small fee. The above link will give you the contact information for your state.
The level that someone is given is the risk level of them re-offending. A level three is considered highly likely to re-offend, while a level one is considered only somewhat likely to re-offend. In many cases where a child is the perpetrator (or if it's a case of statutory rape, where both perp and vic are minors) then they will not even classify them as a sex offender.
I would recommend looking his name up on the list on the website I provided. You can also phone your local police department for assistance.
If you have not done so already, contact your local victim's advocacy program. Request counseling for your daughter and an order of protection. If she doesn't have one, also ask for a 911 cell phone in case he tries to attack her again.

Age is irrelevant when it comes to the Sex Offender Register -
The defendant may have a set time to be actually on the register, example 7 years - but the nature of the offence will be there for checking for a lot longer than that!
As for your daughter...grab all the counselling and support group help available for her...she is scarred but believe me scar do fade even if they don't go away. She needs you and the rest of your family to be strong for her as I'm sure you will be.
Good luck and god bless you

The general public can not access the sex offenders register. Contact the Victim LIaison Unit for your area and they may be able to help. He will only be on sex offenders register if the Judge ordered that as part of his sentence.
Best wishes to your daughter. I myself was sexually assaulted and I know it's tough. Best luck to her.

I think because he is a minor the records might be supressed. Unless he was tried as an adult, in that case he would be on the offenders list that is kept in every county. Contact your police station, they can tell you where the list is.

Wasn't there a case recently of a girl who twanged her clasmates bra strap and she was put on the sexual offenders register? I'm sure she was 15, too.
This is in the UK. I see differnt countries have different rules.

You are mistaken. Sex never becomes boring even at 60 plus, and it always thrills. Maybe there is a reduction in the frequency, but it remains the same as it was in the beginning. I don't understand how it becomes interesting after seeing others. After all, it is all in the mind.
