However they wanted. You only have 1 death and its important that you state your wishes whilst you are still able to. This can be done verbally, but is better to be on paper either in a living will or will and testiment.
How you die and what happens to your remains is the ultimate life choice and needs to be discussed between loved ones so all wishes are known. If you are in the position (and not taking the p*ss) where a relative has died and its up to you to organise their funeral then think about what they want, what finances are available (cremations are cheaper than burials), and any religious or ethical considerations. A really good website is www.ifishoulddie.co.uk

Does anyone know what the dead relatives preferences were when they were alive, if so go with what they would have wanted, some people need to have a place to go to after loosing someone close who they loved, so they usually bury them, cremation is the other option.

I have an opinion and this is it:
Did the dearly departed have any last wishes on that topic? If so, I'd go with that. Otherwise I am a big fan of cremation. Cheaper and takes up less space in our overcrowded world. My parents are book ends in my brother's den and my granddad was in my Mom's closet for 13 years before his ashes were intertwined with his wife's (my granny) and tossed up like "dust in the wind".

I don't think i can bear to be buried when my time is up! The thought of that coffin and all the bugs that will feed off you. I know your dead and won't know but cremation is definately the way to go, is my opinion!!!!!

It is certainly a personal choice, of the person who has passed. Generally, they will have made their final wishes known ahead of time. If you are going to be transporting the remains to another state or country, it is far easier to do if the remains are cremated.

That really depends on your religious beliefs and the amount of money you have to spend, Cremations are always cheaper.

Cremation as it doesn't take up so much of the countryside for cemetaries. And I have already paid for mine in advance to save money, so the vultures can go elsewhere
